starting out
At 10:00 a.m., the worship band, led by one of our talented worship pastors, will head to the front and lead us in a song or two. The music may be a bit different than you are accustomed to hearing in church, but we know that it will move and inspire you. We sing to worship God. Our God is not a boring God, so our worship is not boring either. The songs may not be familiar to you, but you can follow along on the projector. If you do not want to sing, do not feel obliged. After a few moments of prayer, a member of the church will welcome everyone to the service and give a couple of brief announcements. We never ask our guests to stand up and introduce themselves or do anything to embarrass you. Honest! Remember, you are in a safe place.
The band then leads another time of music and singing. During this time they may well invite everyone to walk around for a minute or two and introduce themselves to someone they have not yet met. So go ahead and say “hi” to someone you don’t know.
When the band is finished playing, the school-aged children will be invited to head to the children’s programs, which are for children in grades one through six. The children will head out the back of the room with their leaders and will return with them just before the end of the service.

my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus — the work of telling others the good news about God’s wonderful kindness and love. (Acts 20:24)
