Sunday Morning

Congregation 2

What kind of church is the Sanctuary?

The Sanctuary is a church for people of all ages who desire to live extraordinary lives in Jesus’ name. We learn about God through relevant and engaging Bible-based teaching, invest in each other’s lives, and participate in numerous opportunities to impact our local community. We are participators, not spectators, in our personal faith or church life.

Our congregation is made up of all ages, from youth and young families to seniors. God has however placed us in Sheridan College which provides us a very unique opportunity to be Christ to young adults who are the hardest to reach demographic in Canada. God is doing some amazing things on campus.

We desire to lead more people to a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We do this by sharing God’s love through our actions and words to everyone, no matter what they believe or what they have done. We are the people of GRACE!

What time are the worship services?

Every Sunday morning at 10:30 am in the Marquee (follow the signs and greeter in the parking lot) at Sheridan College Oakville. During the 10:30 am service, there are age-specific programs for newborns to grade 5.

How long are worship services?

Worship services typically last about 70 minutes. Before and after the Sunday morning service, people are invited to visit our cafe for some Fair Trade coffee (Ethical Bean) or tea and connect with others. Members of our prayer team are also available immediately following the service for those wanting prayer. Children need to be picked up by parents/guardians immediately at the close of the morning service.

What if I have a baby?

We have an excellent nursery program and facilities, well-staffed with caring volunteers. Nursery care is available to you even on your first visit. Of course, if you wish to keep your baby with you during the service, you are welcome to do so.

Is there a dress code?

No. Our desire is for people to feel comfortable “as they are” when they come to worship. Casual is the norm.
